Jubail Industrial College licenses ProDyn Operator Training Simulator

Houston, TX: Jubail Industrial College, Saudi Arabia has licensed ProDyn – A Dynamic Operator Training Simulator Software. The purchase was made through Ingenious Inc. Houston, USA.

An Operator Training Simulator (OTS) is a means to provide operators and students with a realistic operation environment to effectively learn how to operate the target process. The target process could be a process in the refinery, petrochemical, chemical or power industries.

“ProDyn system includes reproduction (simulation) of the plant equipment and instrumentation & control. The software is powered by rigorous, complex mathematical process models to provide a realistic dynamic response of the various processes”, said company President, Bharat Kamdar. “ProDyn is high fidelity software, which enables students and operators to respond safely, quickly and efficiently to all kinds of process situations such as start-up, shut-down and normal operating procedures, process control and strategy, abnormal situations and emergencies and troubleshooting in daily operation. The students enrolled in the Department of Chemical and Process Technology at JIC would immensely benefit from our software.”
